Ruba Ointment

Each 5 gm ointment Contains-

• Thymol 100 mg
• Mint 200 mg
• Camphor 200 mg

Ruba is a fast acting natural analgesic & antiseptic ointment. It contains thymol, mint, camphor which is highly effective in Headache, Minor cut, Minor burn, Sprain, muscle pain, Wound, insect bites.
Thymol
Thymol has antimicrobial activity because of its phenolic structure, and has shown antibacterial activity against bacterial strains including Aeromonas hydrophila and Staphylococcus aureus.In addition, thymol demonstrates considerable post antibacterial effect against some microorganisms.This antibacterial activity is caused by inhibiting growth and lactate production, and by decreasing cellular glucose uptake.
Mint
Mint oil is a good antiseptic and anti-pruritic material. It soothes skin, and helps to cure infections and itchiness. Its anti-pruritic properties can be used for treating insect bites like those of mosquitoes, honeybees, hornets, wasps, and gnats. The cooling sensation will relieve you of the irritating sensation to scratch, and the anti-inflammatory nature of mint will bring down swelling.
Camphor
Antiseptic, Disinfectant, Insecticide, and Germicide: Camphor used in many medical preparations such as ointments and lotion to cure skin diseases, as well as bacterial and fungal infections of the skin

Anesthetic & Nervous Pacifier: It acts as a good anesthetic and is very effective for local anesthesia.

Anti-inflammatory and Sedative: The cooling and penetrating effects of camphor oil make it an anti-inflammatory and sedative agent. Decongestant: The strong, penetrating aroma of camphor oil is a powerful decongestant. It immediately relieves congestion of the bronchi, larynx, pharynx, nasal tracts and lungs. It is therefore used in many decongestant balms and cold rubs.
