Tonsiotren Tablets

Composition

1 Tonsiotren tablet contains:

• Atropinum sulfuricum 5X 12.5 mg;
• Hepar sulfuris 3X 10 mg;
• Kalium bichromicum 4X 50 mg;
• Silicea 2X 5 mg;
• Mercurius bijodatus 8X 25 mg;
• Excipients Q.S. to 250 mg.

Indications

Traditionally used for the treatment of complaints caused by inflammations of the pharynx such as acute and chronic tonsillitis.

• Relieves redness and inflammation quickly and reliably
• Gently soothes the aching throat
• Reduces heavy mucus secretions
• Has a beneficial and decongestant effect

Dosage/ Uses

Unless otherwise prescribed adults and children from the age of 12 can take 1 tablet in the mouth every half hour to hourly for acute symptoms (max. 6 times a day).

In the case of chronic symptoms, 1 tablet can be taken in the mouth 1 to 3 times a day.

For children, 6 years and older should not take more than 2/3 of the adult dose.

Once the symptoms start to improve, reduce the frequency of usage.
