Mode of action of main Ingredients

They affect the symptoms of constipation of hepatogenic origin.

Carduus marianus: Organotropic relation to the hepato-biliary system. Main symptoms of the drug picture are a slowing and stasis of the portal circulation. Sensation of fullness in the area of the liver, constipation, stool is hard, dark and in small lumps.

Carbo vegetabilis: Organotropic relation to the gastrointestinal tract and the cardiovascular system. The drug picture is characterized by overall slowing of functions. Sluggish function of the stomach with distension of the epigastric region, flatulence, belching.

Magnesium sulfuricum: Functiotropic relation to the gastrointestinal tract and the cardiovascular system. The drug picture is characterized by overall showing of functions. Sluggish function of the stomach with distension of the epigastric region, flatulence, belching.

Mandragora e radice siccato: Functiotropic relation to the liver and to the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms of the drug picture include bloating, unnecessary urge to defecate, constipation with hard ball-shaped stool, the sensation of not having finished after defecating.

Dosage: if not recommended otherwise, in acute cases 5 – 10 drops daily up to a maximum of 12 times daily; in chronic cases 5 – 10 drops 3 times daily.
