Carduus marianus Pentarkan® Ptk. 23

Carduus Marianus Pentarkan Ptk 23 drops are used as effective homeopathic medicine for chronic liver disease treatment.  These problems may be due to alcohol intake, bacterial infections, inflammation of the liver (hepatitis) or adverse effects of certain medications.

Compositions

100 g Carduus Marianus Pentarkan drops contain:

• Acidum hydrofluoricum 5X 10 g;
• Aurum chloratum 4X 10 g;
• Carduus marianus Ø 30 g;
• Quassia amara Ø 10 g;
• Excipients Q.S. to 100 g. Ethanol 46 % (V/V).

Indications

Traditionally Carduus Marianus Ptk 23 homeopathic medicine is used for fatty liver/degeneration of the liver and as supportive therapy in serious liver diseases.

The indication may include fatigue, jaundice, vomiting, loss of appetite, nausea, headache, dark urine, depression, fever, abdominal pain, , and general itching.

• Recommended for enlarged liver or liver function deterioration due to alcohol Indicated for chronic diseases of the liver (hepatopathy) and their concomitant symptoms
• Removes congestion of the portal vein
• Carduus is known to relieve dyspepsia, acidity, heartburn, and gastralgia.
• It helps to improve the oxidation process and elimination of foreign substances in the liver.

Dosage/ Uses

Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed, adults should take 10 drops of Carduus Marianus three to four times a day until improvement occurs.

Children: Unless otherwise prescribed, children should be given no more than one 5 drops 2-3 times in a day.

Take the Carduus Marianus Pentarkan drops half an hour before or after meals, and preferably keep them in the mouth for a while before swallowing.

In acute cases, repeat the individual doses more frequently, if necessary at hourly intervals. As soon as the improvement is felt, reduce the frequency of use.

Side Effects

No side effects of Carduus Marianus Pentarkan® Ptk. 23 are known to date.
